At TGS Tech, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment for our community, including clients, customers, and contributors to Apex Engine, HeroEngine, and HeroCloud. These Community Guidelines outline expectations for participation, rights, responsibilities, and potential actions in response to violations. By engaging with our platforms, services, or community, you agree to adhere to these guidelines.


1. Purpose of the Community Guidelines

The goal of these guidelines is to:

  • Promote respectful, constructive interactions.
  • Protect the rights of our clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and integrity of our platform and community.
  • Define clear expectations and consequences for violations.

2. Expected Behavior

All participants are expected to:

  • Respect Others: Treat all individuals with dignity, regardless of their background, opinions, or affiliations.
  • Engage Constructively: Provide feedback and contributions that are relevant, respectful, and constructive.
  • Maintain Integrity: Represent yourself honestly and refrain from impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity.
  • Follow the Rules: Adhere to all terms outlined in our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other related policies.
  • Comply with Laws: Abide by all applicable local, national, and international laws while using our platform or engaging in our community.

3. Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action:

Harassment and Abuse

  • Threats, intimidation, or bullying of any kind.
  • Discrimination or hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.
  • Doxxing, sharing private or personal information about others without consent
  • Sexual harassment or unwanted advances
  • Stalking or persistent unwanted contact
  • Deliberately targeting someone repeatedly after being asked to stop, sometimes called brigading in community contexts

Unlawful or Harmful Activities

  • Impersonating or misrepresenting affiliation with TGS Tech, its platforms, or services through unauthorized websites, domains, or third party platforms.
  • Uploading or sharing illegal, explicit, or harmful content.
  • Sharing content that glorifies or promotes violence, self harm, or dangerous activities
  • Engaging in activities that violate intellectual property rights, including unauthorized use of copyrighted material.

Misuse of the Platform

  • Spamming, phishing, or distributing malicious software.
  • Exploiting vulnerabilities in our platform or attempting unauthorized access.
  • Misusing TGS Tech community spaces, including Apex Connect, forums, or official Discord servers, in violation of their respective platform rules.
  • Scraping, harvesting, or automated collection of data from TGS Tech platforms without authorization.

Deceptive Behavior

  • Impersonating TGS Tech staff, other users, or any third parties.
  • Creating alternate or fake accounts to evade account suspensions, bans, or other disciplinary actions.
  • Spreading false or misleading information about TGS Tech, Apex Engine, HeroEngine, HeroCloud or our community.

Disruptive Conduct

  • Intentionally disrupting discussions, events, or operations within the community.
  • Posting irrelevant or inappropriate content in community channels.
  • Coordinating with others to manipulate votes, ratings, or community feedback systems.
  • Flooding channels with excessive messages, images, or off-topic content.

4. Client and Customer Rights

As a participant in our community, you have the right to:

  • Access a Safe Environment: Engage in our community without fear of harassment or abuse.
  • Content Control: Manage the visibility of your posted content within Apex Connect and TGS Tech including options for public, members only, friends only, or private.
  • Provide Feedback: Share constructive feedback to help improve our platform and services.
  • Privacy and Security: Expect that your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Appeal Actions: Request a review of any actions taken against your account if you believe they were unjustified.

5. TGS Tech’s Rights and Responsibilities

Our Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a Safe Community: Monitor and moderate the community to uphold these guidelines.
  • Protect Privacy: Safeguard user data and ensure compliance with privacy laws.
  • Address Violations: Investigate and act on reports of misconduct in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide Transparency: Clearly communicate reasons for actions taken against accounts or users.

Our Rights:

  • Enforce Guidelines: Take appropriate actions against violations, including warnings, account suspensions, or bans.
  • Modify Content: Remove or edit content that violates these guidelines or poses risks to the community.
  • Terminate Access: Restrict or terminate access to our platform for users who engage in severe or repeated violations.
  • Cooperate with Authorities: Report unlawful activities, including credential harvesting, impersonation, or other criminal conduct, to appropriate legal authorities where necessary."

6. Potential Actions for Violations

Investigation and Actions:

When a violation is reported or identified, TGS Tech may:

  • Conduct an Investigation: Review the situation to determine if a violation occurred.
  • Issue Warnings: Provide a formal warning to the user for minor infractions.
  • Suspend Accounts: Temporarily suspend accounts involved in moderate to severe violations.
  • Terminate Accounts: Permanently ban accounts for serious or repeated misconduct.
  • Notify Authorities: Report unlawful activities to the appropriate legal authorities if necessary.

Appeals Process:

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior or content that violates these guidelines, please report it to us by:

Reports will be handled confidentially, and we will take appropriate action based on the nature of the violation.

Please note that filing false or malicious reports is a violation of these Community Guidelines.


8. Modifications to the Guidelines

TGS Tech reserves the right to update or modify these Community Guidelines at any time. Changes will be communicated through the Apex Engine website, official community channels, and other TGS Tech platforms, and become effective immediately upon posting. Continued participation in the community constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.


9. Acceptance of Community Guidelines

By engaging with our platforms, services, or community, including Apex Engine, HeroEngine, HeroCloud, Apex Connect, and any future TGS Tech platforms or services, you agree to these Community Guidelines and accept the responsibilities and consequences outlined above.
